The Department of Dental Medicine and Oral Health ensures that all patients in Styria and some in Burgenland and Carinthia receive high-quality comprehensive care in dentistry, oral health and orthodontics. In addition, the division offers consultations and diagnostics with its highly qualified staff in all these areas as well as oral and maxillofacial surgery for all problems related to the masticatory system.
Our department engages in innovative and interdisciplinary research at an international level. All areas of our discipline have a special research focus. We cover the entire spectrum of university research—from fundamentals to applied research. This is how we guarantee that our patients receive treatment according to the latest scientific findings.
As a department, we are also active in practice-oriented teaching and training for students and postgraduates. Our highly qualified staff members pass on their knowledge and the latest scientific findings to students and trainees.
